Should you be a full time investor?

This is hard to do, especially if you have just started. You can buy and sell stocks. The average returns of the market is 10%. Let's say you're better than the market, you can make 15%. You will need about $333k invested to make $50 K a year. Living from your investments alone is nearly impossible unless you have a big portfolio. That's why, it is recommended that you invest for the long-term for a retirement portfolio.
