WORK-LIFE BALANCE is a MYTH

If you want to have a meaningful life, it is time to give up the myth that you need to have a separate work life and a normal life

Aristotle and Plato believed that essence preceded existence but this view changed in modern days, first with Friedrich Nietzsche and Soren Kierkegaard and then with Jean-Paul Sartre who worked on existentialism. Existence precedes essence. But Sartre blamed capitalism for the lack of essence in our lives. This is something even Karl Marx talked about. Marx believed that capitalism alienated people from their labor.

However, Sartre also talked about bad faith. We have the power to decide our future. We already exist and we have the power to find meaning in our lives.

Even modern successful entrepreneurs such as Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk and Jack Ma do not believe in work-life balance
