You can now stalk me

After an intense but enjoyable swimming session in the ocean, I found myself on bed rest for much of the week.

This gave me the opportunity to create two new products.

That will allow you to stalk me.

1. Posts Database:

I never run out of ideas on what to post every day on different social media platforms. And sometimes, I cannot post the same thing everywhere.

On eToro, for example, I'm limited to one picture per post and sometimes, I post not the picture that deserves the most views but the one that will bring the most eyeballs. So where do you find the actual picture?

It can be confusing to keep up with what I write and post.

And sometimes, not everything I write is even posted.

For example, I started writing a post last week about how the real competitor to ChatGPT is not Google but Meta. I haven't completed it yet, and I don't know when and if I will ever publish it. Or maybe, I might prefer to make a YouTube video on it.

The good news is that I keep all these posts (published or not) on a Notion database, with important research notes.

2. Research Logs

This one is more about me taking notes or writing down my ideas from something I have or watched or even just thought.

For example, this week I watched a WSJ video on Build-A-Bear Workshop, and took some notes on CEO Sharon Price John. This is not something that I will bother write down in the full analysis of the company but it might be useful someday. Or maybe not. Nevertheless, I like to keep a Notion database of these research and ideas.

It is more about what's happening inside my brain as I'm receiving new information.

I believe in the importance of having an investment community, where you can get ideas and share them. At the same time, it brings more transparency and accountability.

It helps me (and you) know what's important and what's not. If you have to write what you consume, you will avoid news and noise such as daily movements of the S&P 500 or any particular stock. And only focus on the essentials.
