The Bond market worldwide is much bigger than the stock market

A bond is a debt obligation. Bonds are issued by governments and corporations.

The typical bond has a maturity date, a coupon rate and a par value. Most bonds are rated by the Standard & Poor's (S&P), Moody's and Fitch.

In order for you to find the present value of any bond, you also need the yield to maturity of a similar bond
