People who fail seek pleasure, those who are doing okay seek happiness, while those who succeed seek eudaimonia

Pleasure is an instant emotions when your brain produces dopamine

Happiness is for the long term and based mostly on memories and dreams

Eudaimonia is for a lifetime

Eudaimonia is a Greek word meaning fulfillment. It is a very important concept in Greek philosophy especially in the philosophies of Plato and Aristotle.
