Nobody cares about your political opinions. Neither does the market.
In the last couple of days, we heard about the fall of Maduro's regime in Venezuela and its impact on the market or oil prices.
Of course, there were multiple conflicting opinions as it always does with politics.
This is because of how our brains are wired as social animals. We need to have an opinion to be part of the group.
But this doesn't help us in life or as investors.
You can't change anything in faraway countries. In fact, you can't even change things in your own country. That's why we have elections every few years for you to choose your representatives, who can make the changes.
I'm not calling for political apathy. But rather for you to discard the noise and focus on things that you can control. It helps you both as an investor and a human being.
