💰 Let's start by talking about the 𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙝 𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 in my portfolio. After my massive 3300% average profits on GameStop $GME earlier this year, I faced a problem of having too much cash in my portfolio and we know that cash is trash right now. At some points, 50% of my portfolio was in cash, last month it was 35% and now it is 25% since I invested heavily in two new stocks recently, UNFI $UNFI and Essent Group $ENST .
🇺🇸 34% of my portfolio is in the 𝙐𝙎 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙨 category and here I have UNFI, Essent Group, JPMorgan Chase, Apple, Alaska Airlines and Skyworks Solutions. Skyworks Solutions $SWKS is the largest portion of my portfolio and I've been holding for about two years. It is still fairly valued and is set to win from 5G. Apple and JPMorgan Chase are two stocks I've been holding for over 5 years and for now, not buying more, just reaping a nice dividend. I bought Alaska Airlines last year and we've already made over 200% on some trades, the stock is still cheap so is UNFI and Essent Group.
🇨🇳 15% of my portfolio is in 𝙣𝙤𝙣-𝙐𝙎 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙨 with 2 Chinese stocks, China Mobile and Qudian $QD . China Mobile is a bet on the old Chinese economy while Qudian, a bet on the new economy. Both are undervalued but since I have enough exposure to both, I'm not buying more. I also have the Brazilian and South Korean ETFs in my portfolio, long-term bet on these two economies.
⛏️ 10% is in 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙤𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙨 through Freeport-McMoran and Polymetal International. Freeport-McMoran is a copper miner and I am betting on higher copper prices because of the fast rising demand from renewable energies, electric vehicles and still low supply. As for Polymetal International, it is a Russian gold and silver miner and a hedge against inflation.
🤝 13% is in 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙨 with 3 arbitrage deals: Genworth Financials, DouYu and Inphi. I'm constantly looking for more of these special situation stocks and will most probably invest more in them in the coming months.
