Skyworks Solutions $SWKS is currently my largest position and one of my best ever investments.
Skyworks Solutions is one of the most important suppliers of Apple $AAPL , making the necessary semiconductor chips that enable you to connect to the network. 5G can bring about 40% more revenues per chip compared to 4G.
Skyworks Solutions has chosen to diversify away from Apple and recently acquired the Infrastructure and Automotive business of Silicon Labs. Skyworks Solutions also supplies for example to autonomous car manufacturers such as Tesla.
Skyworks Solutions had to take some debt for this acquisition and it is after more than a decade that they have debt on their balance sheet. But this is good debt. At current valuations, I will say that the company is fairly valued. The best is yet to come.
