💰 I have a lot of cash in my portfolio after taking 3300% profits on GameStop $GME which at some point reached 40% of my portfolio. We cannot stay in cash since cash is trash. How will I spend all that?
🥇The first stock which I'm buying in February 2021 is Polymetal International $POLY.L . It is the second largest gold miner in Russia and third largest silver $SLV miner in the world. Polymetal International used to be 10% of my portfolio and now it is only 5%. But I am still bullish on gold and silver because of all the money printing that has been going on.
🤝 Another alternative to cash is arbitrage. The second stock I'm buying in February 2021 is Genworth Financials $GNW . This company is going to be acquired by China Oceanwide in a cash transaction. We can make money on it by arbitrage with a current spread of 75%. Even if the deal fails, Genworth may choose to have a spinoff of its private mortgage insurance business. Even if this doesn't happen, Genworth is a deep value stock with a market cap of $1.5 billion and $14 billion in book value.
🎮 The third stock for February 2021 is another arbitrage opportunity, DouYu $DOYU . DouYu is known as the Twitch of China and at current valuation, it is very cheap. DouYu is going to be acquired by Huya, its main competitor. This merger is being done by Tencent, which has ownership both in DouYu and Huya. There's risk of an antitrust probe. But at current price, the risk is limited as even if the deal fails, it is a good investment.
