PepsiCo is most famous for its Pepsi-Cola drink and the Pepsi brand but it is much more than that. Pepsi is the second largest food company in the world after Nestle.
Pepsi was invented by Caleb Bradham in 1880. Pepsi was the first American product to be sold in the Soviet Union. Since the Soviet Ruble was not accepted outside the USSR, Pepsi was paid in Stolichnaya Vodka. But the demand for Vodka in the US was not that great so the Soviet Union bought Pepsi in exchange for Soviet warships. Pepsi had the sixth largest army in the world.
Pepsi's main rival is Coca Cola but all the other food companies are competitors.
